Mindfulness and Meditation

 

The true goal of Yoga is meditation and what its regular practice brings.

While the many, many benefits that the physical posture work in our Yoga routine brings with it stand as reason enough to begin and continue practicing all of the Asana (Posture) groups, the traditional aim was always to enable us to sit comfortably, free of illness, with enough energy to train our minds through the technique of meditation.

The multitude of benefits that come with Meditation have been studied by the scientific community, both east and west, for many years now and yet we are still discovering new positive elements through current research all the time.

For this reason a regular meditation practice can be the greatest gift you can give yourself.
