"The class structure ensures maximum benefit in one hour. As someone who is relatively new to yoga, I’m hooked and look forward to my yoga class every week."

Hatha Yoga
In a Hatha Yoga class we take each posture individually, holding the pose, watching the breath and seeing what we feel as we work towards meditation in and during our poses.
By moving a little slower in our Hatha practice than in some of the more flowing work we do in Ashtanga Vinyasa or the dynamic movements in Kundalini, we are allowed to really feel into the physical aspect of the practice, while linking it with steady breathing to work on the mental elements also.
While still being a strong workout it can be a great place to start a Yoga practice or if you're just looking to slow down and learn to really un-wind and move into deep relaxation.
"YYH provides a broad spectrum of yoga teaching. While I initially started yoga for physical reasons, through encouragement and learning I have been exposed to mindfulness and meditation techniques. I get great balance from these classes and I feel that the benefits feed into my everyday life and perspective. "
