Yoga for your business
Stresses associated with work can be serious problem for many people in modern society. When not acknowledged and left unmanaged, efficiency in the workplace can drop dramatically. Many studies on work related stress, from Harvard to Cambridge, have shown the following effects...
-
High absenteeism
-
High labour turnover
-
Poor time keeping
-
Poor performance and productivity
-
Low morale
-
Poor motivation
-
Increased employee complaints
-
Increased ill-health, accidents and incidents reports
Yoga and meditation classes in the workplace give employees an opportunity to reduce various types of work related stresses. This can dramatically help to boost productivity and creative thinking, and also increase energy levels and mental clarity by providing greater mental and physical health both in and out of the workplace.

"I always look forward to our lunchtime yoga classes. The classes are always challenging, be it physically, mentally or both.. But with a very relaxing shavasana at the end!"

Seated Chair Yoga/Mindfulness Classes
This practice is a seated class which requires no special clothes, gear or previous Yoga experience. Through gentle guided movements it aims to target the areas that can be most effected by long hours working at a computer/desk i.e. the eyes, neck, shoulders, back and wrists. At the same time, through breath awareness, this class becomes a guided Meditation or Mindfulness practice which can be very effective at elleviating stress and tension, which are fast becoming one of the biggest problems of the modern workplace.
What you need
